Okay, Works better in the correct forum. One saginaw power steering gearbox 4.25 turns lock to lock. Just removed from my 40. Very good condition used very little. 140.00 freight included to lower 48. Shipping from Greenville, S.C.. If no sale by Sunday evening it going as a core.

Just curious, but what made you change your mind for getting rid of the 4.25 and going with the 3.25?

Just curious, but what made you change your mind for getting rid of the 4.25 and going with the 3.25?

4.25 does not react fast enough on rough trails. Thought about going to a smaller steering wheel from the stock one I'm running but it would only help by giving a little more area around the driver. Not significant enough to keep me from fighting to hold a correct line while wheeling. 3.25 was the answer.
