OK, brakes+beer=bad idea....let's do knuckles!
In the dark. It'll probably rain too.
We could just fill the radiator overflow...and the windshield washer reservoir. Just won't tell the newbee what we fill them with.
So. do we assemble at my place, somebody others' place, a commercial establishment? (oh, for the newbee...any reference to a mall is a dig at the 80 series (you know, the Mall Cruisers))
Burgers & Brew? Pighead sez meh. Pighead understands why Alvaro didn't come...
But we did find a new Pig. Pighead didn't recognize it, so walked back into burgers&brew, "Hey, who's got the new Pig?" Pighead asks. So we all walks outside to look at it. Pighead talks to the chef, owner comes out to talk to us. He's heard of Surf&turf, Pighead gives him a 'Mud sticker. Perhaps we'll hear from him (Paul?) again.
What're we dong in January? Besides skipping burgers& brew?
If I didn't know any better, I'd think you didn't like that place. Yelp.com seems to mostly agree with you, though.
I don't have any suggestions that far into civilization, but if someone wants to organize a potluck somewhere, I can bring some roadkill down for all you city folk...
I'm sorry I could not make it. I had to go to the Bay Area and by the time I pulled into Sacramento, you guys had already ate.
Pighead, too bad you did not like B&B. I think they have fine selection of beer, their burgers are pretty tasty and that their prices are reasonable.
I thought it was fine, burgers were on par with Rubicon, beer selection was fantastic! It was nice to be able to have the table grow as everyone arrived. Plus no manditory group tip. Prices were very reasonable I thought. I would keep the place 'in the rotation'.

Personally, I can't remember ever eating at Rubicon. Whether that's because I don't ever get around to ordering anything or because I'm distracted by beers and studebakers, I cannot say.
I liked it I think pighead was just bummed that he didn't get his plate cleared and was forced to eat more fries. The rest of us ladies got served quickly and with a smile.
HEY I want a MUD sticker
to bring home a pint glass WITHOUT stealing it, which is a bonus. One can never have too many pint glasses. I can bring some roadkill down for all you city folk...
I totally stole it! I learned that was the only way to bring home a pint glass. I figure it is free advertising for anyone that comes to my house for a pint and is a sissy enough to want a beer in the glass. And yes you can never have enough pint glasses, my collection has roots across the nation.
What you bringing squirrel cause I would almost stay in CA for that!!!
