I KNOW I'm not the only one :D. I've heard that chemtrol b 12 with a cleanable in line filter (and 15 stops in the following 100 miles) works well. Anybody tried this yet? Am I just going to open up a can of worms?

Any chance someone has made a plastic tank or knows of one that fits? Thanks-Josh

for what year? I might have one just north of you.

How bad is your tank?

I keep a spare fuel filter and pump on board at all times. I'm adept at disconecting the fuel line at the wheel well and blowing the line clear.:doh:

Bad enough? LOL

Been that way since I've had her. It's just time to fix it. It runs fine for two blocks and then it's running like garbage (at idle). Choke is working so I know it's starving. Been there done that; more than twice:D. Blowing the lines clear lasts about three months.

3_puppies: Do you have a plastic tank or just a clean replacement tank? I'd be interested either way. It's a 73 (according to the vin). I've never been too sure though; no wing vents, full window for the rear seats, and a raised hood.

May head your way for some camping shortly here. Let me know what you want for it. Thanks -Josh

clean replacement, if your somewhere close I could meet up with you, or stop by. I can send a pic or two if needed. PM your email.
