Johnny Lang....

Damn bro, that thing looks awesome. I've followed your work in the past and read just about every tech article you've written.

Was bummed when I saw you sell the 85 last year, but knew another project was on the way.

Cheers...Fawkin' Awesome work...Typical though

Great truck!! almost too clean....

I really dig the tent. That's all i need until i get a rooftop. So you said you sowed that puppy up yourself?

I did. I'm wicked with the Walmart sewing machine and safety goggles. My wife loves to tell people her man bought a sewing machine and sews.

Is that being "metro"? :flamingo:

MOT - Oh I see how it is! No invite??? Phewy on you both!:flipoff2: Hope you all had fun. I couldn't have gone anyway as I have been on-call this week.

Kevin thought that it would be beneath you (would not be interested) to go wheeling the sissy stuff that he was going to be taking me through. And that you might want to show off when we went down again (w/o family) to do the hard stuff.

He took the Excursion and I was in a '00 Grand Cherokee. ;)

Next time, maybe with his 2 Runner or the Hummer. :D

Very Nice Johnny!!!

great pics too.

:grinpimp: and sexy all in one!! Full of so many great ideas. makes me wish I was skilled w/ tools. drool. Are you coming to SNT this year....I hope so, I wanna see this in person. Might have to wait until Moab though.

Very impressive rig. Your mods are well thought out and executed. Thank you for taking the time to do a great write up. More ideas for mine.

Nice 80, bro...I have followed the the build up since you started and have enjoyed it.....Keep the good work up....Nice write ups in the past on all your mods too!

Thats a nice truck with lots of toys. Great write-up.

You are my inspiration...

Someday the grocery getter will graduate and I'll be looking up your mods again. Thanks for all the write ups.

I sent a link to your ROTW to a non-cruiser friend that I'm trying to get addicted...er...I mean...to buy one. Thought I'd post up his comments, nice props...

''Oh my hell dude….that would be worth not having a wife! (uhhh….since I don’t have a cruiser…..don’t tell my wife that!)

I’m serious….I’m literally sitting here salivating….that is a sweeter than sweet cruiser! I think that would haul the family on a many fun excursions!

Awesome rig. Mine wants so badly to be like yours when it grows up.

What OME springs are you using? J's? Caster correction?

Thanks again guys I appreciate the kind words and comments.

I am running "J" springs along with the Wasatch Cruiser front spacer. I also run the OME Caster Bushings. She drives nice and straight, doesn't pull during braking, and luckily I have no vibs from d-lines. (knock on wood).

Awesome looking rig, and great mods. I appreciate you sharing how you've done them all. I just need...more time...and money...and imagination... But very cool! Anyway a tip on the collapsable CB antenna mount (learned the hard way). After 70 miles of washboarded dirt road in the folded position, the roll pin that it pivots on vibrated out, leaving my firestick dangling by a bungee cord. So check it every now and then and/or carry a spare.

Roof Lights

Johnny -

Awesome write up, beautiful truck.

I would like to know about the roof lights. How are they wired? What switch in the cabin, etc. We are simple people, so pictures are appreciated...

Thanks

Emmett
