Test Fitment in our 80 Series...
img1524v.jpg

I have no clue what im going to do with the hose yet.. seems weird to me, no matter where i place it. Also, i kept the rugged floor mat in place for any sudden leaks. Just good to have imho.

The steel bar setup is the African Outback bed extensions that bolt in place of stock mounts for the 2nd row seats. I just took the extensions out for a better view and ease of install. We use that under deck for storage of light items, sleeping bags and other items we don't want crushed.

Looks like a great fit.. Hose does seem funny. Not long enough to route outside to long to tuck up.. Hmm what to do??

Dave,
If you decide to remove the rr heater (under the pass seat) it leaves you a hole for the water hose to route down and out.

I took mine out and it also opens a lot of storage space for little things.

I have been pondering the removal but haven't really come up with any reason too.. Nor anything I would/ could put in it's place..

Alright, just got done water testing for leaks and putting the tank back in the rig. Also, i didn't use the metal hose holders yet.. i think i'll just keep them tucked instead. The flatter the hose is the slower the water runs and the tank seems picky. If you loosen the fill cap the water will flow faster.

Here's a few pics.. make sure to never loose the little black cap, otherwise the water will trickle out of the quick release slowly. I plan to pick up more of these.

idk how i just stumbled upon this AMAZING ROTW but i think its been like 400 weeks, lol

Never-the-less, i love your rig, and your blog. Wish i could get my better half out there like you do. Can't wait to have the money to creat a rig like this! (im 24) lol

Thanks for the inspiration!

When I took my kids to Disneyland last summer I got a chance to stop by and meet the Adventure Duo at their place of business. I also got to see the rig and trailer setup and they were indeed awesome!, I also picked me up a set of the trasharoo bags while I was there. Those bags are bad @$$ and you need to get one.

I actually ordered up a Trasharoo bag the other day, inspired by this thread, instigated from dealing with plastic trashbags in 40mph winds - and the resulting scattered litter I spent an hour picking up - in Jawbone Canyon (Mojave) last weekend.

The INTI roof rack came off today for rehab. We are going to upgrade the old rusty parts, sand blast it and powder coat it. Then it will get Lightforce lights like the ARB just did. Also we changed the Donaldson filter out from a 7" to a 10" for more adequate airflow.

Looks so sexy without a roof rack... and drives nice too!

Less wind noise?

Yeah, the INTI with the water and fuel cans makes a racket. The INTI empty, not so much. No roof rack, perfection.

I've been doing more support trips lately so the rack has had a tough time getting yanked. I actually NEED it. Heading out to do support for Mojave Road in 48 hours as a matter of fact.

I wish i lived where you did. I have no cool trails here.

Im still in awe looking at your rig with trailer and all set up camping. Thats my dream!!!

it is apparent that you two still don't have children to waste your time and money on, huh?
