Awesome job it looks great. I'll paypal some money for your time if I can get a nice 8 - 10 MP picture of all your rigs in a group shot. You have an awesome stable of cruisers from what I see in the background. Your my idol. It would look awesome to blow that up and put it in my shop.

Would you please tell me what this is circled in red on the firewall? My 79 came to me missing whatever it is. Also, your 79 is a beauty.
That is a voltage regualtor, search for it on coolcruisers.

That would be strange because a 79 should have an internally regulated alt. Mine did before it got swapped out for a Delco. It also does not look to me like the voltage regulators I have seen on earlier 40s.
That's where the voltage regulator was on my 79 too.

I'm 6'4" and fit fine. Go with MT you won't be let down..
Bull, as much as I wanted to cry for the blue soft top.. the thead is awesome. Nice build. ...and the MT is #1.
