Quick video of the gauge.

Just bought a good bulb harness from wyorunner. Thanks Turner! So I should have my dash all fixed up. Didn't have 55+ lit up at night. (Not like I need it anyway  ) Some of the other bulbs were falling out too though. Left blinker and choke light don't hold in.

I like having money to blow on my cruiser! Next up will be the bracket for the hand throttle. There is too much slop in the cable. Found the part number on mud.

78471-90A00

Until next time gents.

Got the bracket for my hand throttle. It works much better with it (duh)

Also got my vacuum gauge mounted differently and borrowed my Dad's camera to take some decent photos.

I installed some LED's from superbrightleds.com

~ WLED-G-120 for speedometer, tach, multicluster, inclinometer, and 4WD.
~ 3022-G9 for HVAC light
~ BA9SF-G-12V for Sunpro vacuum gauge.
~ 67-W9-WV for license plate light
~ 67-W15 for front corners

^ So those are the part numbers from superbrightleds I used. I got my dome lights from FullyLitLED. They are wicked bright. See photos below.

Note in those photos my headlights are not on. What you see on the garage door is from those 67-W15's. They are awesome.

What's next? Whatever I can justify spending money on haha.

Sweet truck man! The history of the truck plus the detailed thread are both inspiring. I think it is really cool when something is pasted form one generation to the next without the lose of the appreciation of said item. Keep up the good work and keep the post coming.

Thanks man! Maybe you can see it in person some day. You're relatively close to me :)

Great Rig man! Love the way you have upgraded it.

I've got an OME med lift on mine, with 33" KM2s. I was wondering if you could measure from the ground up to your fender on the front and rear wheel arches. Your truck looks taller than mine, and I'd love to gain an inch or so if I could to match yours.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the compliment :)

When I get a chance I'll take a measurement for you.

Here's a recent (yesterday) picture to tide you over.

Haven't done much to it lately. LED's here and there. Need to replace my clutch master cylinder. But I want to order the SS clutch line. Stock one is dry rotted. Kinda worried about it.

Thanks again Carp :D

It rattles. Never bothered to try and get another one. I liked that it was cheap and simple looking. Figured I'd just leave it alone. It only rattles under heavy acceleration. Kind of like a warning tone. Annoys me so I don't do that as much haha. It was really loud when mounted on top of the dash. Better now with it mounted below the HVAC controls.

If it's the gauge body rattling against the mounting bracket, I would run a bead of silicone on the back side between the two... Should stop the rattle or quiet it down substantially.

J, I think it's actually the internals of the gauge. But I'll try grabbing onto it and see if it rattles under load.

Carp, here are my measurements:

Driver front: 37"
Driver rear: 37.75"
Passenger front: 37"
Passenger rear: 37.25"

Taken from ground through wheel center to top of wheel arch.

Cruiser lean :hillbilly:

I have "A" and "B" springs. "B" is on the passenger side.

Thanks for the measurements Alex. I took some of mine today, and I'm embarrassed to post them on here. Gonna check at work on a more level surface and see if that makes a difference. Will post back results.

You can always PM me :)

My suspension is roughly 4.5 years old I believe. I have about 30 thousand miles on it. I've never really loaded it down though. My 60 is primarily a DD.

Totally didn't notice this was my three-thousandth post yesterday! Yay :bounce:

Went wheeling yesterday with some good folk. The last picture of the t-shirt is their club. No action shots because we were moving the whole time. My brother just got a Rebel T2i. Pretty nice camera. He took all these.

Broke my DS motor mount again. Gonna fix it with a bolt this time through the factory mount. Probably put some rubber on the bottom side to have a little bit of play.

Oh and I ordered a SS Clutch Line from MAF to replace when I do the clutch master cylinder (which I've had for ~1 month haha)

The little things <3

I actually do have some footage. I forgot about it haha.

Gimme an hour or so to make a video. Edit. This takes a while. Probably another hour. So 10:45pm central time :D

Nice little cruise Kline...

Thanks man. It wasn't the most extreme stuff. I didn't have my GoPro out for the first run where there was actually more challenging stuff. I went down a hill that was crazy steep. Making it up was challenging too. Really loose dirt has zero grip even with a locker.
