Roof Rack Recommendation

I've got the Prinsu rack on my 200 and use a bunch of the FR accessories. You can mount anything to the Prinsu with a 0.25" carriage bolt. Ive run an RTT, maxtrax, roof boxes, etc....

I am not 100% sure about your specific application but everything I have done mounts to the top of the crossbars. I haven't run into anything yet that I can't mount to this thing and the low profile nature of it helps me fit it into the garage during the winter. If you need measurements or anything, just let me know.

I'm installing it on an 08' LC, are you able to mount an RTT and awning without installing risers on the base of the RTT? If not is there a significant bump-out on the awning mounts? I'm glad to hear the 1/4-20's will work with those accessories as well. I thought if I went the prinsu route, worst case I would have to order some 1530 crossbars from the 8020 website to accommodate the larger t-nuts and fasteners.

Hey Cokecan79, I don't have a Prinsu, but just watched a video of an RTT installation on one. Prinsu told the guys to remove the crossbars from the rack, install onto the RTT before placing RTT on rack.

I have the EZ Awn K9. Great rack. Live in SLC so Equipt installed it for free for me.

I seriously considered the Front Runner. Pros and cons seemed about equal. If a local dealer would have installed it for free, I might have gone with that.

Any recommendations for good cargo netting for roof rack(Prinsu). Need to strap down 3 large duffel bags and misc. items. Also, looks like Sherpa Equipment roof rack looks like a no drill solution and dang near identical to the Prinsu. Any experience with that brand? I emailed them to find out if they will have one for the 200.

Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Thank you! This is exactly what I’m looking for, so long as I can get it by June20. The 1” width should be plenty. Now need to figure out size for Prinsu since it’s not installed yet.
