Rodent damage to my 2017 460. Help identifying small chewed wire, please. :(

About a half hour south of Gardnerville.

I think it might be possible to splice but I can’t see the underside of the pump without removing it. If it’s just a couple bolts I could take it out and give splicing it a go. I do have some coupling connectors handy and the right electrical pliers. Is the pump tricky to remove?

Thanks again, Gents.
Off 395? I drive past there almost every weekend to fish the West Walker river. I am heading out there Saturday morning. I could give you a hand. Heading out to the gym right now, but I will check back here later. 👍

If you go here: GX 460 Manuals
there is a factory repair manual that you can download. Albeit, it's not really a download. It downloads all the PDF's but it works off of HTML website, but it does work and will show you all that's involved removing it.
Or this may be simpler:

Just a quick update here. HVLA stopped by and is an awesome guy. :)
His GX is really sweet, too.

As for my particular issue here, I pulled the secondary air pump. It was three bolts on the mount, one hose, and a simple electric plug. So I managed to remove the pump without any drama. Cleaned up the mess all around it, and am waiting on a new pump. Lexus in Reno wanted $714 just for the part, not including any labor. Found it online for $470 shipped, so went that route. Should be arriving at the end of the week so I'll update again once I (hopefully) get it replaced.

Someone with better wiring skills that I could have repaired the damage, I'm sure. But the rats chewed up the split off sheathed wire (two small white wires in a smaller "harness" that splits off from the larger one), and the other side of it too. Leaving a lot of what looked to be potential issues down the road so I just bit the bullet and ordered a new pump.
Sigh... But warms my heart that this forum has such wonderful members. Thank you again, HVLA, you're a good guy and I'm grateful to have gotten to meet you!
