the longer pitman arm hit the panhard bar

move the panhard bar

and the panhard bar hits the ram

it never ends

I really like that cover ...who made it and how much ? I will be needing this with winter on it's way..correction winter is here !!!:D

The cover has worked out great.

The cover has kept the morning dew off the dash and seats.

I had a local car upholstery guy make it.

The material is the same as outside awning fabric or marine fabric.

If I was to do it again I would sew it up myself...

I was able to pick up some material from a local Los Angeles vendor but the below link might get you started.

realized I had the axle over to one side by a couple of inches

Tried to adjust it and the threads got nasty on me

attempted to machine the bung fitting out

welded a nut to twist off the bung

DSCN3331.webp

threads are all jacked up

DSCN3333.webp

finally machined the bung off and welded another one in

needed to finish up on the steering

of course that did not happen but I got a good start

got a remote resevoir

pushed radiator out of the way

DSCN3339.webp

pulled the pulley then the pump came off

DSCN3340.webp

Rather then hassle with a new can, I decided to modify the one I had

cut off the top
