Awesome rig! Hope mine looks just like that some day. Can you tell me what size tires you have on your Cruiser with 1.5" lift?
Thanks

Great job. Too clean for me.......

Absolutely beautiful. Exactly what I've wanted several of mine to look like. None of which ever have. Please drive it and enjoy it. Don't let it sit and collect dust.

I looked up the word "Cherry" in the dictionary and found your rig. Wow!!! :D

WOW! I am in love...

I had to check, they are 31x10.5 R15, thinking about putting BFG tires on at some point to give it a more classic look, so if anyone is interested in these (with less than 200 miles on them), let me know, or make a offer. I don't know much about the durangos (although I know they are very quite on the road, whcih is suprising given the tread).

ALSO, someone asked about PTO pics, from front to back. I can send you some, just give me a reminder after the 15th of Feb (got a work project now). And I would be happy to send.

Thanks for the info on Winberly, to the poster than sent the info... I will check it out.

Thanks Don

Also, regarding the tires, I am sure you can go bigger on the tires if you wanted. There are no problems with the size I have... plenty of clearance, no problems with being too high... I just wanted to keep the look closer to stock...

In regard to your PTO, I had my engine rebuilt this summer (I highly recommend Texican, Baker Tire in Bonham may be a ways from you, but you will not find a better, or more knowledgable person to deal with...well worth the drive,) and found out that the linkage on the transfer and pto are pretty sensitive to adjustment. When I reassembled, I had to slightly reposition the linkage arm on the shaft and adjust....give it a shot, simple fix.
You should bring it out to Round Up March 19th-22nd in Katemcy, Texas. Check out the Lone Star Landcruiser link.....you could charge admission to look at that piece of art!

That is one sweet rig! I need to spend more time scoping out the 40 & 55 series tech section!:D:beer::beer:

Wow that is wicked sick. Awesome.

I just got a set of BFG KM2 31x10.5 R15, on my '74 FJ40, not even 100 miles on them yet. I had new BFG Mud Terrain Radials put on in 1981 and I, like you, wanted that classic look. After I ordered a set of KM the shop called back to advise they are discontinued. He could get a set but in the future if I needed a replacement I might not find one. They (Discount Tire) sold me the KM2 for the price of the KM. I have to admit I like the look even better. I can't comment on performance but they are supposed to be better than the originals. If so I know I'll be impressed. Just food for thought if you go that route, good luck.:clap::clap:

I'm just down I-10 a ways in Houston.

Thanks for the photos of your sweet resto. It motivates me to get my latest project done.
