Amazing pics and well documented man! Love it.

Thanks! I actually like the naration and documentation part of it, just havent had enough time to do it, until recently. Should be more to come this year!

It's official, I need more friends :(

Lol, I dont have any friends, I'm just the creepy dude with the camera.

You and me both.
Seeing these pics makes me look forward to the days when I have my Cruiser trail ready. I've got a couple buddies with rigs and their always bragging and bagging on me about going. Great shots man, looks like a really great time.

Yah having truck downtime sucks! I might be having some downtime myself in one way or another before the summer is through... I just found a local 2UZ for a pretty good price. The temptation is there.

I want to go to there! Are you working the last week of August Addison? That's when I'll be rolling through with the new Cruiser, I have a wedding in Calgary on the weekend though.

Hey Ian! I will be heading to Nelson August 27th. Doing the Gray Creek Pass and camping for a night or two before making my way to Nelson. Back in Calgary the night of Sept. 1. I will have the Cruiser so if we can line up somewhere along your journey let me know!

what time are you leaving for nelson?? Im headed to montana that day for a 14 days wheeling trip in the Lexus

Hey Joe, Not 100% sure yet. I will be departing from Lethbridge as thats where my 80 resides currently. What time would you be coming through at? Where in Montana are you heading?

down to the Magruder Corridor to go through the Nes Perez National Forrest

from there over to red lodge for a couple days, probably the morrisson jeep trail and goose lake in Wyoming, from there Ill be headed to Colorado for a couple trails near Denver !

Great build! Looking forward to seeing it sometime!

This is by far the best 80 build I've seen, nice work.

I don't want to copy you, but honestly I think a lot of what you've done will carry over to my LX build. ;)

FYI, Addison has sold the truck and moved on. Too bad, it was an awesome rig! I miss his mountain wheeling pics already!

Great thread, one of the best!

I've scrolled through this thread a few times and I can't find any details about the lift you have?? Maybe I keep missing it. I really like the stance of your rig. Are you running an OME J Spring lift?

Either way, AMAZING rig!!!

Two posts above mentions he sold the rig. He hasnt logged on in some time either.

Thank you! I was going out on a limb =)

But page two has this tidbit

Quote:
I didn't post much about the current mods. It's on OME 850/863 springs and has a 30mm spacer in the front.

The guy who built this truck is still on Expedition Portal, I'd ask questions on his thread there if you want answers.

Thanks for the tip. I have never heard of Expedition Portal. I'm currently registering for the forum. Do you know if he goes by the same username? (rickashay)??
