Is there a way to retrofit the cruise control stalk to the turn signal switch (84310-6A100)? The version with cruise control has been discontinued for some time (84310-6A200) and trying to understand if I should go with a new switch altogether or attempt to repair - tried searching, apologies in advance if I missed a thread on this.

Check the classifieds section. There's always folks parting out 80s.

I read the title as if you wanted to make the cruise control switch function as the blinker

I've been trying to find one of these too. Mine is worn out so the turn signal won't stay on. I bought 84310-6A100 and couldn't figure out how to make it work. I think you can mount the cruise control on it, but the wiring is the issue. This was two years ago I tried, revisiting it today and can't remember what the issue was.

Appreciate the response on this. I’m assuming you have to repin the new (non-cruise) “steering switch” connector to match the current, along with the cruise stalk.

I’m in the process of chasing wires on an old aftermarket alarm system bc my hazard/horn relay is getting low voltage - may not need to replace my steering switch afterall… sometimes I just throw new parts at it like an idiot

Yeah i will have to disassemble and take another look. I still have the new 84310-6A100. My issue is just that my turn signal won't stay on. I tried stretching the internal spring (to give it more pressure) hoping that would solve the issue as it has for others, but did nothing. Then i considered swapping the brown clock ring, stalk,s etc into my old assembly so that I could maintain my cruise control. But as I recall the design of the clock ring on the 6A100 is different than the 6A200 so they cannot be swapped.

Be curious if the 6A100 can be somehow made to fit. I'm sick of the pre-mature turn signal disactivation issue and also tried to fix without success. It's getting worse.
