I'd like to replace all of the carpet in the back with something easier to clean and more durable. This includes the carpet on the lower rear gate area. We typically put our ski boots there so it gets wet and muddy. Found some old threads, but many of those places either don't exist anymore or don't sell the ready-to-install items anymore. Thanks.

Have you seen this thread about replacement carpets?

I think they only sell whole carpet kits, not individual pieces.

About the tail gate carpet, you can make a replacement cover yourself

or buy a aftermarket replacement like this:

or you can convert it to storage like this:

Huracan Storage Install (the non carpeted version of course)

you also have a cutting board option

Mountain hatch

I made something similar to the mountain hatch, if I was to do it again. I think “Starboard” would be a better product. I used cutting board material, it was like $ 70.00 looks new three years later.

Thanks! I saw that, but isn't that replacing carpet with carpet? Looking for some other material than carpet making it easier to keep clean.

I ended up ordering the Trekboxx tailgate cover. This thread looks like exactly what I'd like to look into. Thanks again!
