Red line's 80 front bumper prototype

The bumper looks ok to me, but the bars need to be more level/parallel to the bumper, like the first mockup. But I think it could be mounted closer in, cutting the front grill to mount the winch more into the body line.

the outer hoops connecting to the stinger make the cruiser look kinda sad. Other than that, I like it.

Hey Justin - that's a nice truck you got there! :flipoff2:

Looking good - though I'm not completely convinced on the outer hoops either. Have you turned on the lights to see if there's any effect on the pattern.

Also, what's the mounting look like?

The outer hoops do give it a little bit of a droopy eye look. IMHO they would look better if they were parallel to the bumper.

I know it has been addressed before, but it does look a little low in the front, in particular I think the wings could be shaven a bit even if it requires a/c dryer relocation.

It's nice to see other bumper options available for the 80. Definitely looks high quality and stout!

OK, good, this is the response we need, We will do some more messin around and take in consideration of opinions!!
Keep them coming:D

Ill post up some more pics as we go!!

I agree....more clearance, that would be what could get me to sell my ARB and go with something else. Also the corner hoops need to come up at the corner rather than down (like the pic toolsrus posted). The stinger could be bigger so that it protects the radiator in a roll.

The tubing simply needs to be bent to follow the outline of the lights and grill (to enhance the styling of the front end according to my personal hair stylist) and not obstruct the lights or cooling .The center hoop (stinger) should be tall enough and angled enough to protect the radiator (and knock over those pesky shopping carts). I want the main shell to be tight and high but dont want to mess with the ac so I would settle for a skid plate plate that bolts on until I get around to relocating it. In a nut shell, The short bus with a stinger and headlight protection with a bolt on ac drier skid.

Check out prototype #2!! Powder coated!!

After seeing this one, we WILL be selling them with no hoops, and ready for your finishing touch!!

Thanks

Justin

BTW, thanks josh:clap:

I REALLY like prototype #2, that looks very nice. It could be modified however the owner wants! Looks very stout, nice work.

Looks good without the tube. If the tubes were not so massive it would look better. I don't like how the center tubes are lower than the outer tubes. How is the approach angle on it? This will be something to think about if you are trying to sell to Rockers like myself.

Looks awesome, makes it nice seeing it exactly how it would look on my LX.

Do you have a price yet?

Thanks!!

And no price yet, we are still working on that, soon though!!
Our new web site, that we have been working on for so long is almost up, and will have more info!!

But as always we will be posting info as we go along!

As for now, this is what we have come up with for your 80!

A... This bumper will have the option to be powder coated ( upgrade )

B...The thought is, for all of you guys that have benders, this bumper will enable you to build your own tube structure to your specs!!

C...How cool is that, you get to start with a bumper that has " ARB" strength, with a " NEW " look.
It can handle animals and provide enough protection from boulders, trees and the local soccer mom loosing her shopping kart into your rig!!

D...you can say you built it, because you did!!

Do you happen to have a pic that shows how it looks from looking straight at the front of the rig and from the side?

RedLine 80 Bumper

Justin,

How much for the lower bumper only with no upper hoops? I posted a thread "Viable cost effective options to the ARB bullbar" Yes, I am riding around with no bumper because I just cant swing that much money for one. PM me with a cost or info, it would be cool to have it on for Surf N' Turf coming November.
