Had a great time on the trip. Thanks to all who came out. We ended up having family night in the tent because the rain kicked up. The morning was gorgeous, had a nice fire and left out for Sts. John. The fog was so thick I could barely see heather behind me. We had the place to ourselves, probably because of the weather. Headed back out Deer Creek and Webster, whole bunch of rigs at the red cone Webster junction. Met a couple of great guys on motorcycle and chatted for a while. The leaves seemed even better on the way out Webster and handcart. Amazing how wet everything was.

Thanks for the trip report and pics guys. The few I took were pretty much duplicates. While a bit crowded for me, I still had a good time. Sounds like you had a good time camping as well Luke.

great pics and trip report guys!

Didn't even think to check here for the trip report! :) Thanks for having us, we had a great time with you all and would love to do another trail run! I hadn't run Red Cone since I was in high school, so it was great to be reminded of the incredible views! Catherine was pretty scared after she read the TrailDamage.com description, but she pleasantly surprised me by saying it was one of her favorite trails! Here's a few pictures I snapped with my iphone since I forgot my "real" camera (too bad I typically take better pics with the phone!).

We really enjoyed having you guys out. Great job finessing that hundy around in the tight tree sections.

The panorama pictures are way cool! I'm resisting turning in my faithful old iPhone 4 until it quits, that makes me want to upgrade :)

If it makes you feel any better, Catherine still has her original iphone 4 which is insanely slow (she always upgrades to the new OS which is a bad idea!), and she still doesn't want to upgrade until her old one is 100% dead :D

I can't wait to upgrade from my iphone 4! Think i'm going Samsung Galaxy next

Glad you caught me the moment I happened to be sucking my gut in. :grinpimp:

Don't do it!! Once you go iPhone, you'll hate everything else.
