Sandy and I plan to go so guess I'll be the scared guy with one not scared girl (not sure I recall how to 4Wheel).
Are we meeting at 7:00 or leaving at 7:00? Would like to get as much sleep as possible - Leon beat the crap outta me last weekend!
See ya then.

Awesome! Glad to hear you guys are going to make it. Any plans on camping? I'm still on the fence.

Lol...I think I was typing my reply when you posted Sam.

Most likely. Do you guys go up Hall Valley Road?

I'll be meeting you guys near the Hall Valley CG tomorrow am.

Damn I wish I saw this sooner, my wife would kill me if I tried to back out of my Saturday plans :bang:

No worries man, there's always next time...

80 's are very capable rigs, especially with lockers and some body armor. A stock-ish 80 made it up Blanca, and that's not a milk run. May have tested the sliders and skids but it made it.View attachment 942550

Bret - Love the way your rims are finished. Are those the stock rims re-done? Did you do them yourself?

I believe that's Ryan's 80 (mountianmanryan here on the MUD) and I believe those are stock rims he finished himself.....and that man knows how to wheel. :steer:

Guess I'll start off the Red Cone trip report. Didn't take as many pics as I usually do, but still got some good ones.

We weather was perfect and we had a good turn out, including another 100 owner from Denver (mcgaskins from here on the MUD and his girlfriend - both very good people and fun to wheel with, thanks for coming out).

Mr. and Mrs. Wonderful and myself left WP a little after 7:00 (I didn't get the camo shorts memo), met up with mcgaskins and even though we ditched Sam and Sandy at the gas station, they eventually caught up with us. ;) We then met up with Leon who camped out the night before in an aspen grove.(good to see he's enjoying his new RTT) and aired down and headed out.

Red Cone was a blast, saw a HUGE moose and had a nice lunch about tree line. It was a little busy near the top, but nothing got out of hand. :grinpimp: We split up and half went out through Webster Pass while Luke, Heather and myself hit Radical Hill. Radical Hill was RADICAL, really enjoyed it.

Leave's changing were gorgeous, unfortunately my camera skill are lacking and I was able to capture tier true beauty.

.....well, I could ramble on forever, but I'll zip it and post some pics.
