Just thought I’d share my most recent purchase. I’ve had four FJ40s (still have one), also had a 100 series, but this is the first 80 series I’ve owned. I picked it up locally here in Oregon a couple months back for $7,500. It has around 234k miles and great maintenance history. Most of the work done by Land Cruisers NW. Runs and drives really well. Interior needs a little attention and cleaning up, but it seems solid for the most part. Mostly stock minus a 3” (I think) OME lift. Tires are pretty much brand new as well. It’s been in Oregon it’s whole life, so no rust. The front and rear seats are pretty shot, so I just ordered some Katzkin leather for the first and second row. Will be ordering new driver seat foam as well. Lots of clear coat peeling so I might try the Poppy’s Patina stuff to see how it works out. Also planning on pulling the carpet and pressure washing, installing some sound deadener and jute, and painting some trim pieces with SEM.
