That pretty much says it.
I have the new parts on the way for the new manifold to tail pipe exhaust for "OSO" but there is a wee little bit that will need to be fabricated.

I'm going with the '96 Y-Pipe and cat from Flowmaster up front and all new '93 stuff from the tail pipe forward but since the '96 uses 2 inline cats and now I will have just the one I need a custom bit to connect the two.

Bonus: This will also leave me room for the forward bracket of the future Power Steps

I'm in Queen Creek and I plan to have both the front and rear sections installed before taking it to the shop so the shorter the drive with "open headers" the better.

Thanks Y'All

Recently went to Scottsdale muffler and it was the best muffler shop experience I have had so far.

Not exactly the east valley but not too-too far. I plan to go back to have my Y-Pipe replaced at some point.

Had some work done last month at Mesa Muffler and Accessories. Rick and his guys did good work cutting and welding back together my exhaust to fit with my White Knuckle sliders cats protection cage .

I'll second Scottsdale Muffler. Used them ~2.5 years ago, was very happy with the service (forgot his name) and everything is still there (no rusted components, had them do Y-back for me). Happy customer.

Another vote for Mesa Muffler. Installed the Magnaflow and most recently new cats on the 470. Years ago put dual exhaust on my brother's F150. Great experience all around.

Thank's Y'All, neither is real close but since i drive all over the valley every day I can at least stop in to both and see how they feel.

I got the y-pipe in today so I may leave it with one and have them put some O2 mounts on it. I am getting shy'd away from using the P.A.I.R. ports at this point. Since the y-pipe is out should be cheap/easy to add the O2 mounts.

I stopped in at Mesa Muffler to meet them and sort of "grease the skids" on the work wanted to have done.

After a lot of digging and reading i have decided that with my "upgrade" to the '96 y-pipe I am not going to delete the P.A.I.R. system and use those manifold ports for the O2. Not an emissions issue for me but it could be for someone later down the road in this 'Cruiser's life.
Instead, I am going to add O2 mounts to the new '96 y-pipe in the tubes before they come together and block the single existing mount.

Since I could not get Mesa Muffler to understand what I needed/wanted them to do...going to just do it myself. After the y-pipe is installed and the sensors relocated I might address the section of connector pipe I will need with them since it will most certainly need a little bend in it somewhere to make the new '96 meet the new '93 stuff.

Are Mesa Muffler, Scottsdale Muffler (Tempe), and Mad Hatter still top pics of the club? I didn’t see any super recent posts.

Nothing complicated I don’t think. I have a couple of exhaust leaks. I’m just looking for diagnose, fix, charge a fair price and not mess anything else up. Searching the club Postings I’d say Mesa Muffers name came up the most. I’m near 44th and Camelback so would prefer something a bit closer.

I went to Scottsdale Muffler over by Tempe Marketplace. They did a great job. Couldn't be happier.

I would recommend Mighty Muffler up on Cave Creek. Owner operated, and the guy does great work. I took my 80 series there a few years ago after other shops in the area couldn’t fix my problem.
