Something like that, or I’m to cheap to buy new parts.

It’s not as bad as it looks. Just some pieces are rottrn away but nice clean steen next to it.

Very Talented !!! Enjoying watching you reconstruct your truck.

Still working on dismanteling it, not sure if I can get it back together again.

I was just thinking that it's a good thing it's you and not me... I would have the fenders inside the cab and the hood and roof swapped...

I am curious to see if you can get it all back together... I don't believe I've ever seen a "complete tear down" restoration.

Keep it up Michael!!

Thanks Danny, I hope I didn’t bite more than I can chew.
It kinda spiraled into a full tear down, but on the other hand what is the fun in buying a new tub when you want to learn new things.

We all know you can do it and make it all better than new... Just be sure you diagram where every piece fits... Like a large, metal jigsaw puzzle.
Its all in me head, I hope.:hmm:

With the talent you shown so far the phaze of putting it back together is going to be the easy part. !!
JP
Thanks for the vote of confidance.
I’m not woried about getting everything in the correct position, normally when I take something apart I know how to put ot back together. Its just the repairs of the edges that worry me, a few mm off here and there will make assembly a bigger challenge.

Lowlander Dude, you should consider renaming this the WTF Dismemberment/Reclamation/Restoration Project, because everytime I check in my first reaction is WTF!

Can you imagine my reaction every time I open up the door of the workshop.:hillbilly:

I just finished reading this whole thread and it's one of the best restoration write-ups I've ever seen. Looking forward to more, and I'm kind of hoping you'll make a video showing how you got that perfect curve on the fender patch!
Thanks for the props.
The bend was made using the English wheel for the first curve and then manual bending untill fit.
