Rear blower motor resistor?

I went out and measured the resistance on a brand new front heater blower motor and got a reading of 0-0.5 Ohms. I am guessing the 22.5 Ohms of the rear heater blower motor is way too high then?

Something isn't right. If you measured 2.5V on low then there should be quite a difference in fan speed from hi. Also your pin numbers don't make sense.

DC resistance of a motor is just for ballpark comparisons. You would really need to measure current draw of both old and new motors with same voltage applied while running.

I think some confusion has entered the equation here: There is a difference in fan speed- the fan doesn't spin at all when I put on the low setting. That is the problem that started this thread, sorry if that wasn't clear from the get go.
That being said, I will go remeasure the pin resistance numbers on the resistor. Maybe I got the 2-3 pins switched in my head when I measured.

Ah, in that case the fan is suspect.

Shoot, ok. Hopefully the motor is still available from Toyota. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it! Thank you @Output Shaft for the help. I'll report back when I get a new motor.

Just an update and conclusion for this thread... the new motor fixed the problem! All speeds work and blows strong. woot woot! Thanks for the help guys!
