Sadly this is a known issue, but more common on heavy diesel applications Cruisers in severe markets such as Africa and Australia. That said as 100's get older and used harder, we are seeing more failures. We (Cruiser Outfitters) stock the reinforcements (Part# OMEFK27). They are easy to install, you can bolt them on and have them welded eight on the truck. We are recommending them with all of our suspension kits used on Cruisers seeing rough duty. I've been running them on mine since the day I installed the suspension and I've got zero distortion out of the anchor bolts or arm.
Give us a call if we can be of service. We can pack em up today! 801-563-1277

Thanks!
Just got off the phone with Bryce - they are being shipped tomorrow.
Still going to play devil's advocate here...welding these in or bolting on an already weakened substrate makes me have pause. I know it's a little spendy for new lowers but with the mileage, plus you get all new lower bushings and ball joint I would do them. You can weld in the new pieces while they are on the bench and get a good quality install. Even if you go moog replacements you are only out 500 and you address 3 probable issues that will crop up down the road.
I used this company to supply my LCA's, they are in the U.K. So not 100% sure they ship to the US or are 100% compatible, they are genuine oem with the Toyota stickers on. With the weak pound at the moment they are cheap. The downside would be you would have to wait. Give them a ring if your interested and see what they have to say.

That is certainly worth looking at while replacing. While we've not seen a single LCA fail at the anchor arm AFTER the reinforcement is installed, bushings and ball joints can and do wear further. We have more of the UCA/LCA Japanese ball-joints en route and are working on replacement bushing kits for the LCA too.
I'll play devils advocate with the Dorman/Moog/Febest style replacements... I've not compared the 100 Series LCA's against OEM but some of their other Toyota applications are notably thinner steel, thinner brackets such as the shock mount tab, etc.
Yeah agreed with the moog. I think the OEM can be had for around 300 ea. although, not sure that included the ball joint. It did include new bushings from my quick search. I would go OEM regardless and forget about it for another 150k. Price between the oog and OEM was 50 bucks but, would have to check to see if the ball joint was included. Checked to different Toyota sources one didn't specify new bushings other didn't specify new ball joint. Go figure...
The $300 OEM option includes the new bushings and the new ball-joint, we've installed a few so I'm confident on that.
OEM Toyota includes everything here:
