Kurt-

Have you considered making an aftermarket LCA? Does the math work or would the finished price be in the stratosphere?

No, unless you're going long-travel (which isn't exactly common on the 100) then the OEM Toyota is the best and it's really not that bad of a price if you have to replace. Fwiw my 100 (Deathstar) has ~220k of pretty rough use (chased the Baja 1000 4 times) and I've done ball joints (555) but my bushings are still relatively tight, I'll either re-bush ($200/both arms) or replace the arms (~$600) in another year or so if I still have the rig.

Back on all four. Sourced a used OEM LCA and installed it. Received my OME reinforcements last night from Cruiser Outfitters that will be installed today. Also...will be replacing both LBJ's once they are available from Cruiser Outfitters.

@cruiseroutfit I've been searching and have not found any threads or pics of people welding the reinforcement brackets in. Is that a good idea or is it better to just bolt them in?

I have the plates, and now have bad ball joints that I need to replace, so I'm going to take the LCA's off and get it all done. Also going to get new TB-LCS anchors if I can find them.

We've welded in the cases they have cracks or bolted when they are clean.

We have the reinforcement brackets and the ball joints too!
