Yea...drug it back on a Uhaul dolly to my parents farm until I can rebuild the knuckles and baseline all fluids. The hubs got hot on the test drive...I'm assuming the knuckles are dry. It runs and drives fine otherwise.

Used to live right next to this guy in Winston. It’s a great looking rig. Seems like an excellent deal. Never saw it move out of the garage. It’s been there for 2+ years now.
I was pretty excited to see the new supra, but too many articles about all the BMW issues have soured me. Damn shame
Agreed, unfortunately the new Supra is an unholy union. Talking to a guy in the industry who made the comment that sadly most Toyota techs have no idea that they HAD a very strong i6 program not so very long ago. I also read an article not to long ago where some guys took one apart and were surprised at how much bmw was hiding underneath, and the fact that BMW is doing recalls already tells me the car is way more beemer than even Toyota wants to admit...
It's only 7 cars, but if BMW is doing the recall, that makes me suspect that the chassis was built in their factory.

^^ We know that it's a Z4 or whatever with toyota skins and interior. It's not "more toyota", it's really not much toyota.
That being said, it is an impressive piece of engineering. The stock bottom end looks like it's good for close to 1000hp.
