I've posted a few months ago regarding my 2005 LC CEL on and code indicating bad CATS, upon replacing the O2 sensors (OEM) and resetting the unit, everything was fine until a month ago the light came on again. One day accidentally I had the key turned in "on" position without starting the engine and went to get something then went back into the car and started the engine, magically that made the lights went off, it stayed off for about a month then came back up again one day, I did the same this time using the key in on technique, it did the trick. Anyone knows what's going on? I do not feel any odd behavior or sound or anything at all with the car. I'm just trying to hold off on spending a fortune replacing CATs when probably not necessary.

I would assume all the sensors, or possibly just the wide bands are getting preheated with the key in the on position. You could verify this with an ir heat gun. They have their own relay in the engine bay and should get pretty hot pretty quick.
