Is this the jobby that sits on the rear axle?

it sits up on the frame cross member and is connected to the rear axle by a rod , it is only on the fj62...fj60 does not have one afaik

I have a 74 tub, COMPLETELY RUST FREE that I am getting ready to e-bay. Both rear wheelwells cut, and one dent in left rear above the wheelwell.There are pics in the for sale section from a couple months back. No rear doors tho. $500 at my door.

2F longblock just running and in CA

I lost 2 cylnders on my 87 FJ60 so I am looking for a long block to swap in. I could rebuild mine,but I dont want to spend that much cash. I have V8/Auto waiting for it, but the money is too tight for the full V8 conversion right now.

I have been driving my FJ60 for over 8 months with 2 dead cylnders and I would continue, but the smog natzie's are at my door and it wont pass it, which means that the registration will be held up.

I am not worried about mileage as long as it runs and I can pull a compression test.
