I am looking for the FJ40 inspection light (courtesy light - the thing that plugs into the glove box receptacle) or a similar light that I could used instead of the OEM. Claudia

Both. They make real nice double knuckle arms. And it rounds out the upgrade of putting '60 knuckles on pre '79 FJ40s. I have a couple of sets of '60 knuckles handy but they are off of early rigs with the smaller arms.

My dome light doesn't come on when I open the rear passenger side door. It works on the other three though. It's the switch that has a little rubber boot over it to keep the water out. If you were sitting in the seat with the door open, the switch would be next to you hip inside the door frame.

Knuckle Spindle Needed for a FJ60

I managed to ruin the threads on my knukle spindle during my Birfield job on my FJ60. I thought I had all the tabs pushed back before I pulled off the 54mm nut but both the inner and outer turned together and gualed the threads up pretty bad. Does anyone have an extra, or know where I can get on for a reasonable price?
