I had great luck with a local brake supply shop, I got a OEM(Aisin) clutch master in someone elses box for I think $20(maybe $30) whatever it was it was 1/2 the dealer price.

don't get me wrong, I love Dan, but sometimes there are other options for the same identical part..........more than often however there is not.

Landpimp, thanks for the tip. I'm gunna keep looking. There has to be a cheeper source. I've not found one for less than 90. which seems high even for a factory unit or maby I'm just cheep.

Looking for Fairey OD, Gearmaster, or Ranger splitter

I'm looking for a complete Fairey overdrive unit for a 4-sp tranny, or a Gearmaster (same basic design), or maybe a Ranger gear splitter to mount in front of a 4-speed. These are the options I'm considering to provide OD in my '71 FJ55.

WTB FJ40 seat bracket pedestals

I'm helping my buddy build a 75 FJ40 from the ground up and we're at the point of installing a pair of Corrbeau fronts seats. What I need is a pair of the passenger seat brackets pedestals (or whatever you call them). These are the 2 pedestals that bolts to the floor and then the seat bracket bolts to them. I need the longer passenger side type to clear the gas tank. I'm not sure what other year FJ40's had the same. Thanks.

I am in Northern Ohio and I have "NEVER" seen a 3B advertised around here or in southern MI. In fact, I am thinking about an expedition north of the border (cross at Windsor) in search of a 3B/H55f/other goodies to bring back down. The boneyards around here are completely empty with Toyota LCs/minis. I think the hunt will be half of the fun.........
