Radio wont turn on sometimes (1 Viewer)

I'm having an intermittent issue. Sometimes the radio won't turn on. I have to pull over and restart the truck a couple of times and then it will start up.
Has anyone seen this issue or know how to repair it?
He's a pic of what it looks like when it's dead (sorry for the sun glare)

I had that problem when we installed the VAIS Tech Bluetooth box so I could stream music wirelessly to the '08. Turns out we didn't get a harness snapped all the way back in completely. Audio Off was all we would get and it was completely unresponsive as you describe.

Looks like it's the 16 + LAnd Cruisers and other Toyotas. Mine is an 11

Turning the ignition on and off had no effect though.....

Wild stuff. We need to become EEs so we can re-engineer and re-wire that silly MFD into an old school double dinn that never breaks.

I have a 2010 and my radio is doing funky stuff too (switching radio sources on the fly...).

I am suggesting that it goes beyond the 2016+ range, and that they could be related...
