I have no sound to all but one speaker ( rear ) drivers side
have checked all fuses, continuity etc e
volume all the way up = very weak muffled sound from drivers side rear
static when radio turned on and power up pop from I think all speakers
ripped all out and tested with 9v battery they pulsate, connections fine although a little corroded

Yep still the stock 62 head unit, I think ill tackle ripping it out tomorrow, see if its getting enough power and if that doesn't work, Ill bite the bullet and throw some money at it, book her in to some auto sparky

Check your radio fuse under dash , infact just simply replace it

Does your truck have a factory AMP option ?

Don’t know if they came with one in the

“ Oz spec. Market “. ?

Chased an issue similar where I got normal sound in front speakers, next to nothing rear.
Turned out to be the radio.
I wanted to keep my unit stock but ended up replacing with modern.
Haven’t regretted it,

Hi, Probably the speakers or wiring ,these are good radios. Mike

so I found the inline booster and played with the balance/fade and on FM I'm only getting sound from one side but AM everything works, any idea...at least the cars got character haha

also reception was nil on FM before I put the inline booster in maybe a new aerial is the next step but id like to diagnose the no sound from drivers side first

no amp, just the one build in the stereo unit? I guess
its an aus spec fj62 gxl pretty much
power windows all around, power mirrors
factory lsd
manual h55f petrol 3f
a/c
kinda bummed aus dient get the motorised aerial oh well more room for locker switches etc
