I learned to weld when replacing my passenger floor plan, lots of lessons learned in both patience and what not to do.

Thanks! Yes. Very much worth it. It would’ve bugged me forever. Just finished with the grinding and adding a little bit of filler.
I learned the same way, floor pans, tub… Basically everything behind the firewall. Somehow this door just kicked my butt though. One good thing about cutting out that big panel is I did shoot the inside of the door with epoxy and the backside of the new panel as well. Taped off the edges and sprayed the edges on the inside with weldable primer. I’ll try to get a little more in there on the final shoot.
