Thanks guys for the confidenceI'm excited to have found a four door wagon at all...pretty scarce I think.
What transmission was typically installed in the PZJ77? 12HT?

And all this from a mechanical engineer...sheesh..
So, any comments about the transmission?
no, the H55F was never offered behind the PZ tranny and the imput shaft length is also unique in the cruiser world...
i do think the H55F would be a nice unit behind one...

Im wondering how far you have gone to try to mate these two. I have a PZ here now and the 1HZ H55 bellhousing will mate up to the PZ. The PZ engine has an extra set of bolt holes higher up to work with the 151 but it also has the HZ pattern.
Have you gone so far as to try the HZ flywheel?
If not Ill try it this weekend and post up results. Seems that if the flywheel will fit you could use 1HZ clutch and bolt it all together.
That PZ clutch is tiny.

My only concern here would be harmonics. The PZ flywheel is different the the HZ. I would imagine the PZ is designed to work with any issues 5 cyl firing instead of 6 cyl firing creates. But, nothing ventured nothing gained.
