All thats left in the engine compartment is finishing the AC lines, adding the air inlet tube with the MAS, Power steering lines, new batteries, and a fan. Also did the hood lift mod using some old 80 series rear hatch shocks I had.

are you going to do anything where the 60 wiring harness enters the fender skirt areas right next to the fire wall?
like a rubber banded p-clip or something just to hold the harness off the sharp edge of the inner fender wall? or do you think that the simple fact that its in a plastic wire cover dealy is enough to stop if from rubbing through after a while??

There will be a protective sleeve and it will be fastened to the inner fender.
Man that thing is looking good! I love projects like this! If only I had your skillz.

Did Gary sell Project X? Or is the reason we're not getting any updates because he's in Moab with Project X?
gary magic build very detailed , starting the same conversion here in sunny south africa but with the 3uz not the 2uz , 2uz are still a bit pricey.
the 80 that we used as a donor is the uk spec vx . so im busy with wiring and such as i want to transfer the abs and factory difflock system over as well , i think ive got my work cut out for me , but all in the fun off doing it , just one question gary what did you do about the rear of the body that fouled in the arches did you tub it to fit lower on the frame , thinking of lifting and doing a slee type rockslider to try cover up some of the frame rail , also the chassis we cut in a zig zag pattern and removed the outer rail and once together fitted it back albeit 5 inches shorter as a gusset almost that fitted across the joint.
