I kind of like the look of white spoke "wagon" wheels. IMHO it fits the vintage look of the 60 series body.

agree factory 80 wheels powder coated white would look sweet.

I also like the factory 80 wheels best. The others to me at least look out of place. I think if you powdercoated the 80 wheels a gun-metal gray/anthracite they would look awesome with the white rig.

I think that it was a sneaky ploy on Gary's side to get everyone obsessing about his wheel and tire combo - so they'd stop bugging him about the actual progress being currently and secretly being made on the build
