After priming the fenders,I took it for some wheelin' to see if the wheels still touch the fenders.

More work to be done!!

HAHA!! That's awesome. Instead of trying to widen the fenders, why not just cut out the now flared part? Then you would have enough room for the tires.

Brayn
Awesome project. Will be in Keetmans in July. Will have to have a B&B! :)

Nice project!!!

The 62-series front idea is cool and i did some mspaint-work on it just to imagine how it could look like with some work on the grille:

Well ... looks unique :grinpimp: but in a way a bit XJ-style

What? No new pics Brayn. Please don't slow down now! :)

Yesterday was like a monday,no time for the cruiza!
Today,I'm busy with the rocksliders/side steps and finishing the fleared fenders. Will post pics tonight of the step set-ups.I need more 3mm checkered plate for the bull bar and the steel merchants are all still closed!! I'm thinking now of something like this!

Who's Cruiza is this? What dia is this tubing?
Back to work!!

It's awesome this bumper .. my concern a little bit about the approach angle with those tubes ahead front tires .. but overal looks nice ..

..... the bumper is good for trail-use AND guard the fenders.

my tubing dia is around 3,5" (9cm)

I couldn't make up my mind on whitch way to go on the front bumper as I need to make provision for a winch!.
I finished the side steps and took it off to prep for paint, before taking pics! .
I also removed the bed completly, and moved the brackets by 25mm! The wheel arch is now centered!.
The front fenders's prep is also finished, will paint tomorrow!
I built a ressesed(spelling) battery box since the inner fenders came up to high.
 I have this idea of building the bumper out of channel iron.A bit heavy but will stand up to abuse!

Tonito ,Nice reg. plate!

Brayn, Phoenix is coming on nicely. :)

Here's a pic of the unfinished bumper! I think it just need to mounted a little higher. The corners sticking out ,is to have tubing running from the bumper to the running boards.(fender guards)

Here's the painted running boards and the battery box on the inner fender!
