Junky- Can you put the paypal info on your first post? I just re-read the thread trying to find it (still interesting the second time!)

Or can we just get a sticky at the top??

John- I sent my contribution to:

Gene and Georg, did we locate a new 45lv yet? I have extras I don't need. Also, I have a garage full of parts that need to be gone. Let me know what you need and I'll start digging.

hey mike.
thanks for the reply and the offer. eric C has stepped up and "donated" an LV body/frame!
but we might need some of the smaller trinkets. i will hit you up via pm once i figure out what we still need.
thanks again bud!
georg

no promises but i can try to bring my toyhauler to the lot for people to crash at, gmas basicly on her death bed so that will be the desiding factor

Hey guys,
A couple more smaller items to remove and I'm done with the dismantle at least for a while. Talked on the phone with Georg two nights ago and Rob and I have PM'd a couple times in the last 24 hours. The new plan is after Rob gets the LV from Mace in Vegas, he's gonna bring it to my house as early as he is able to. Then I'm gonna work on cleaning up the engine bay and frame, some of the body in places that won't be easy to do after the work party like the dash, and switch over all of the useable parts from my LV. I want to say again how much I appreciate Mace and landcrusher hauling this wagon from N. Colorado to Los Angeles, and everybody else that has given selflessly from parts, to cash, to words of encouragement.
I still haven't found words that describe how thankful I am for all of you and don't know if I ever will.

Here's some current pics...

i know you probably have thought about this already....but....i'll throw it out there any way :)

are you going to cut off some more areas on your original body....that are suseptable to rust....looks like there are alot of areas that would make great patch panels still on you rig.

Still makes me very sad to see your rig like that...brings back bad memories...still not as bad as you probably fell every day you are taking pieces off...but rest assured...these memories are going to be out weighed by the days yet to come.

those pics make my balls hurt! :frown:

it was good to talk to you for a little while gene, been way too long. the donations are still trickling in. you guys are awesome!!!!!!

gene, please keep some of the pics to yourself; i think i'm finally going to do my first TT write-up about this here project.

Johnny, After I take a few more things off and we pull the motor, I'm gonna keep it just like you see it. Once I see what Eric's LV needs, I'll cut off and use what I can. Anything that's left in decent shape I'll cut off and keep.

You're not kidding about how sad it is taking her apart. Saturday while in the middle of pulling parts I realized if it weren't for all of you on this Board I would have been totally depressed by noon. Just knowing I'd be working on another LV soon made all the difference.

Georg, There are quite a few pics that I haven't posted. I'll stick them all in a file for you.
