working on a 25 yard paint job..

Got the primer on.

When your garage is full of crap, you just have to improvise...

btw, yes, the wind is blowing. Spring in Vegas = wind..

thats a fancy paint booth

Nice job on the improv booth!

You'll really appreciate that when you're done and you don't have leaked overspray all over everything in the garage!

That is a major reason I did the booth.. My damn Fluke Multimeter is almost hard to read from the white overspray that covered it when I painted the 40..
The paint/primer is basic/cheap summitracing.com local paint. So far, I am pleased with the primer, it goes on really thick and hard. Hopefully the paint is what I want..

On a brighter note, the bedliner and Chassis saver showed up in the mail today!!!

I'm going to redo the hood and do the rockers in Roll on Bedliner Black from Monstaliner.

Gotta finish the paint before I can apply the monstaliner. But that will be shortly after the paint :)

That liner looks like neat stuff.

I am really interested to see what my frame looks like after the chassis saver application!

Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner outperforms Herculiner Bed Liner, Duplicolor and Rustoleum Road Warrior

Mace...
I didnt see a price on the site. How much was that?
Why did you choose that over a different product? I used the hippoliner on the 62 and REALLY LIKED that stuff. used Herculiner on the underside of the tub on the 40 and have NOT been impressed with it. Planning on doing the hippoliner IN the tub, but am interested in the cost and why you opted for this vs. another.

I played with the Herculiner and the duplicolor liners and was not pleased. Buddy of mine was hit up by one of the Monstaliner distributors at an off road race here in town. I figured that I'd try out another manu and see how it goes.

Aaaaah!
Price?

I did this monstaliner inside my 40 back in december..I like it, but it still smells pretty potent. But oh well I like driving "buzzed" anyway.

THE PAINT PORTION IS DONE!!!!

Now to let it dry for a week and then roll on the Monstaliner next weekend
