OEM if I have one or can wait. Wix or Napa Gold if not (Wix and Napa Gold are the same).

Same thinking goes for fuel, oil, air filters for me.

I run the cheap clear ones so that I can see what's going on in my fuel lines.
if you want to be really cool, you could use the +1980 filter and bracket which are clear/blue.

After mine had been sitting for 8-9 years, I drained the tank and then installed these two clear filters from O'Reilly's because I knew I was going to pull some trash, and it gave me a real look at just how much. The second one proved the first one. Now I just run one.

I went searching for the fuel filter and could not find one. I talked with the guy that helped with the build and he stated that the fuel filter is in the Holley Carb.
Do i need to add one inline as well?

Personally I like the clear in line filter for the obvious reasons. If you're doing, or have an all oem restoration then oem would be best, but its still an in line filter.

I had that in-the-carb setup in my K5 from the factory and never liked it. Too small, and nowhere for the debris to shake out like an inline filter, so eventually the truck would buck from the filter staying clogged.
As I just posted in the Project Reset thread , the FJ60 inline filter (the one @cruisermatt mentioned) is a good OE option.
