pre purchase inspection. What to look for with a 2006 LandCruiser

I'm having a pre-purchase inspection done on a 2006 toyota landcruiser on Monday. Can anyone tell me what I should have the mechanic pay particular attention to? I'm basically looking to ensure the expensive stuff is sound before I wire the money to the seller.

AHC condition, T-belt and water pump replacement status, heater T's, no codes for the transmission.

one thing you might not find is that extremely high pitched whine of the secondary air pump running on startup.
it does not sound like any other automotive type of whine.
The rest should be normal sigh unseen inspection stuff.

run like hell from rust. 2nd, enter the vin in the toyota website for insight into repair history. look for timing belt service history. Finally, drive the thing. I've seen good looking LC's on paper that showed like crap in person...

Depends how many miles are on it. Also may have been done and not recorded or no sticker placed noting the mileage.

125,000 miles. I was able to pull up the service records through Toyota, nothing was noted there. At that mileage, would I rather there be some sort of work already done to the timing belt, or is the lack of timing belt work seem like it's good for the long haul? Few other questions -- any idea on the timing belt repairs if something goes wrong? Is it the scenario where failure can ruin the top end of the motor? Owner has been upfront and has been the only owner since new -- so we know there hasn't been work done to the t belt.

Any direct advice certainly appreciated. About to wire this guy some serious bread

Timing belt should have been replaced at 90k miles. If it wasn't, then you'll need to do that. However there are plenty of threads here suggesting that the belt will last far beyond 90k. So it's no cause for panic.
