Pre and Post Supercharger Dyno tests - Data

The type of Dyno can definitely play a part in the #'s you get. A Mustang Dyno will generally give lower numbers than a DynoJet, but regardless of that, those numbers look VERY low to me. Even with drivetrain loss, 100~hp at the wheels is dismal even for a stock truck. That's over 50% loss of power from the crank to the wheels. If it were my truck I would be concerned about the power numbers regardless of the Dyno used because if that is "accurate" as they say (and they all say that "theirs" is the most accurate) it would indicate to me a potential problem with the motor that would just be compounded by the addition of a supercharger.

Taking a quick look at the % diff of the data from hzavarce and slee you can see that they are relatively close. Slee's isn't really the best data because theres not really a control (two different rigs). In any case the fact that the numbers look a little low is not as important as the gain vs. the baseline run which is consistent (as much as it can be) with both sets. Its all about the the calibration of the equipment which is what I would blame the low numbers on. That or he left the parking brake on.

no he said same truck but sc was replaced with turbo + other mods

There were two different trucks. A 93 that we ran with a supercharger and then turbo. Same truck. We never did that one stock.

We did run the 97 stock and then with turbo.

I was looking at the second set of tables vs hzavarce's data. There is no NA dyno run on the first data set from Mr. Slee.
