Just got off the phone with Adam and he had terrible news. Don't quite know what or how to say but FYI--

Sidney's dad was in an accident last night that tragically and unfortunately ended his life prematurely. I have a few more details but not much and frankly it's not important so out of respect to Sidney and his family they can provide the information as they choose.

I'm sure they could use your prayers and best wishes right now!!!!

Services are scheduled for Saturday 12-3 at Mansfield Baptist Church near Covington.

Yes the club should do something on behalf of the Benton family. Sidney has been an integral part of this club for years and he is the one who got me hooked on this ridiculous and expensive hobby, not sure if I should slap him or hug him but he's owed our respect.

Funeral services for Mr. Benton will be held at 3 oclock Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Mansfield Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30pm until 3:00pm on Saturday prior to the service. The family has asked that you please omit flowers and make donations to Mansfield Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 111, Mansfield, Georgia 30055.

J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, 2157 East Street, S.E., Covington, GA 30014, 770-786-2524 is in charge of the arrangements. A register book may be signed on line at www.harwellfuneralhome.com .
