Meeting Place, Day, and Time

OK, we are going to meet on Friday evening, the 17th of November, at the Appalachian Brewing Company, Harrisburg, 7PM'ish.

Addy: 50 N. Cameron St.
Harrisburg, PA 17101

I realize some people may want to meet on another day monthly other than Friday. We can discuss that and agree on the best day. I hope everyone will make an effort to be at this initial meeting so we can start off right!

Nothing is set in stone so the more participation we have, the more the club will meet everyone's expectations. I am excited to see cruisers take over the parking lot at the Brewery:grinpimp:

Let me know if you can make it and any other questions!

Thanks to Robert for setting this up and also to Mike Stevens for offering to organize this at another place. We may decide to use it next time.

ABC!
that's right down the street from the shop. we have also done a few small jobs for them.

and from what i've seen of the place, there is no park lot to speak of. granted there may be one behind it. but the one out front would be taken over by one cruiser.

Sounds good to me, care if I ride with you again Jeff? My 62 that runs is so beat up right now I'm afraid to show it off lol. It would make it though, I just made a 440 mile round trip with no problems whatsoever. Maybe we can take that 60 you got Jeff, I still haven't seen it. Oh yea, the 21st is the latest date I can ship out, although it may be earlier. I'll soon find out and keep ya posted. I also switched over to fully active so not sure how its gonna work out for me exactly in the club. Who knows where I'll be stationed, obviously out of state maybe even country. I would still like to go the Brewing Company and at least have a couple beers and shoot the Cruiser s*** one last time before I head on out. If it is too early for everyone though I understand, so don't schedule around me.
Jon and Dom, we should get together sometime before I leave we live too close not to lol. I have a couple trails here and I think you do too. We can do a little wheeling, check out each others' projects and just hang out sometime soon. Give me a call 275-1406.

I'm sure you have me on your list of RSVP's, but I haven't posted here yet. I'll be at the ABC on time on the 17th. It'll prolly take me all of :20 to get there

All, I have a suggestion for the meeting on the 17th and figured this would be the best place to post it.
Since we're coming in from all over the region and many of us are unknowns to each other except on this list, it might be a good idea for someonw to get a roll of those 3"X4" 'HI, I'M BOB' stick-on-the-lapel name tags with a big fat magic marker so we can make our own name tags to wear. Yeah, I know. It's pretty goofy but it's pretty effective too.
I'd have no problem rounding-up a roll of these if the concensus is a go. Your thoughts?
Mike in PA
not Bob

i wont be able to make it to this gathering...i have class weeknights until late...and its a few hours away too;p

At the moment I am in. If anything changes I'll let you know so you can make any adjustments to the head count.

I think the nametag idea is a good one. If you need me to pick some up, let me know, otherwise I will assume you will bring them Mike.

BTW, there is talk of wheeling the Saturday after Thanskgiving at Rausch Creek just so everyone has a head's up...

Todd, I put you on the list.

there's a few zuker's and toy trucks going to RC that weekend...me and dom will either be riding along or maybe taking a rig if we have one that runs;p

Jeff,
I will make sure we have space at ABC. As mentioned to you in an email, it will probably be my son and I in attendance.

In light of the parking situation and gas I think i'm gonna bring the bike(weather permiting) Look forward to meeting everyone.
Chris

As it looks right now I'll be leaving directly from work (Exton) and depending on the weather...I'll either be in the 40 (if it's semi warm and not raining)...or the 80 mall cruiser edition complete with damage multiplier brush bars fore and aft. The piggie...while painted is not yet ready for prime time....brakes being the most noticable issue :grinpimp: at the moment.
