Ward, Burrito is look great! Fantastic work!
That POR15 is amazing stuff.
I would like to take credit for the work, but 99% is through the good efforts of Tor Slinning, Josh, Adam and the crew at Torfab. Great guys and Tor has a BJ 74 - LHD conversion and 12H-T on board. Y'all need to get some more Spanish/Portagee MWBs into the Pacific Northwest so we can start a club, tribe, gang, etc.

Cannot tell ya what a pleasure it is to drive a 7X with LHD - thanks for making the effort to bring in the leftys.

wish i could make it chris but i'll be at chuckecheese for a little ones birthday party. Id love to to make it up sometime though. dont remember seeing a welder at your place have you got that part covered? i could load mine up in the truck sometime if you need help welding the frame mounts.

Yes, the crew at Torfab is top notch.

I'm with you, I love drive the MWB 70 series. They works so well, LHD makes it that much nicer.

Happy to bring them in, thank you. For me, there's a huge thrill in the hunt. Love finding new and interesting rigs.
Kinda goes without say, but I'd be happy to send as many of the bad boys to the Pacific Nothwest as y'all can handle.
I just posted a new truck for sale in the classified section. By far the cleanest Bj73 we've imported. Maybe you know someone who's interested up by you...

I would really love to see a gathering of 70 series at some of the Cruiser events. We attended the CMCC this past weekend. Greg and I were the only two 70 Series there. I was really expecting to we at least a coupe of JDM or Canadian trucks.

Totally understand, we had one of those a couple of weeks ago.

Good eye, I'm not set up to do any welding. Haven't gotten that sorted yet. Would really love the help with welding in those frame mounts and an EGT bung in the exhaust manifold. I'll shoot you a PM when we are getting to that point, would be great to set something up.

nice swap ..

If I may recommend .. while you have your new ( to you ) 1HD-T out replace those small water hoses for the CT26 cooling circuit, and while you are around there the wastegate hose too ..

That is an excellent recomendation, very smart, thank you. Will get them ordered up!

if the exhaust manifold is cast then i would just drill and tap it for a pyro probe. welding the cast wont be an option. Now that i think about i think i recall you telling me you had new mounts for it when we met. in that case it should be relatively easy.

Ok great. Thanks!

Work was interrupted by morning delivery. 1983 BJ45. Nice interruption!

Continuing disassembly. Passenger side lower body mount metal sleeve stuck on bolt. Will need to cut head off bolt for removal.
