Bumping this back up. I have the same popping noise as you described, and I just completed a full birf job with new steering knuckle upper and lower bearings. No change to the popping noise.

I can't get mine to make the noise when I'm stopped and turning the wheels back and forth - it definitely needs truck movement. It's possible that a TRE is bad at a certain angle, I guess. I also can't get the noise if I'm on a flat road and swerving back and forth.

I'm going to check the body mount bushings as well, but I would think that swerving back and forth would cause it if the issue was body mount or sway bar.

I'm thinking maybe a brake pad is moving in the caliper - possibly worn caliper pins?

Hmm, installed a 2" Ironman constant load lift a few days ago and my popping noise dissapeared...

My rig made the noise stock... My rig made the noise when loaded down with a IPOR rear bumper/tire carrier and Slee front bumper... My rig is now quiet with the 2" lift, but I do have a slight squeek which I assume is related to sway bar bushing/linkages... I can live with the squeek compared to the clunk.

My guess is that it was shock related.

On mine I found it to be the sliders that were causing the issue. Do you have sliders on yours? If so check the front mounting point, it can rub against the front control arm mounting.

Moving the slider a few MM fixed my popping noise.
Late to the post here, but are / were your sliders Slee sliders? I have a pop (almost like popping a knuckle on your and) when turning into parking space. I can’t find anything that’s loose.

Is this a single pop or multiple small pops as you move through the turn. A single pop might be a bad rubber in body mount or other suspension. Multiple pops is most likely are worn birfields.

Mine is a single pop. Also, full disclosure, mine is a 100 series. But, I also have an 80 series.
