Always have a matching spare!!! Your car electronics don’t like mismatch.

New wheel tire combo and it fits. 285/75/17 RG

Also very bad for the limited slip center diff.

I bought 5 wheels and matching tires. $2500 🤷🏻

Curious if you noticed any performance improvements: tracking, braking, accelerating? Of course it is impossible to say if the tire width or offset had more to do with any notable changes.

Looks great, though!

Good looking truck, sure I will see it around at some point!

Sorry if this is elsewhere in the thread but I saw some non stock stuff in the other pics. How much lift are you running!

About 2 1/2” lift Icon stage 6

I’ll let you know when I drive it to Nashvegas next week when I’m home.

New wheels and tires! Did I make the right choice. I think I did. What say you

The rims look the same. Had no idea the styling would be so similar. Do you feel the 10# in the driving experience?

Just posted my wheels and tires in classifieds.

It seems like I have a bit more acceleration power and actually feels a bit lighter at the wheel. I do miss my larger tires though. That extra inch in height is noticeable to me. I’m happy with my decision. I still think my previous set is very doable if I changed my gearing.

For sure it was I am running 35s with 4.88s and it drives great.

If I'm not mistaken @Angelo1 has a 2016+ with an 8-speed. Versus @grinchy with a 6-speed.

Physical gearing is super close, between the 6-speed with 4.88 on 35s versus 8-speed on stock 3.307. In first gear, overall gearing is 14.406 vs 14.045. For context, both setups have gearing better than a stock 6-speed on 31s @ 13.029.

So what's missing in the 8-speed with 35s? It's software. The transmission calibration is not ideal even with enough physical gearing. Using the ECT Power mode may help with feel. Jeeps have flash tunes available for their trannies when going bigger tires. Thinking out loud (crazy I know!), I wonder if messing with accelerometer/yaw sensor by physically shimming the leading edge or zero point calibrate it with vehicle nose down, so the vehicle thinks it's going uphill slightly might help with shift points? Not even sure this sensor feeds into the shift map but I suspect it might.

Zero rub anywhere with the 285/75/17 RG on +25offset wheels. No need for spacers 🤠
