Pig knuckle job and tie rods happening.
4 hours or so just for one side. Taking it slow. Cleaning and painting but I maybe could have shaved an hour max keeping it dirty.

Paulina came up for some love today.
After she got Piggy Bacon’s old BFGs she blew a header gasket.
So we commenced to fixing her up.
So I’ve looked at this motor 20 times or more. Helped PMC do clutch. Brakes. Seats. Lots.
Never once noticed the PCV setup.
No. A grade 8 bolt does NOT allow your crank to vent.
We had to switch the brake booster to vacuum on the manifold. I dug out a fitting that worked. Then we ran the PCV valve I had here to the proper port.
Then we started in on removing the goodies
Correct PCV and grommet Beno sent me a while back

Paulina has a Motorcraft carb on a Downey plate.
This is the @Texican special so he was consulted for proper gaskets and such.
After we got the beautiful squishy Remflex installed and everything buttoned back up it would start but not stay running.
We decided to take a break and get a burger at MS BBQ and I sent a message to Butch to see what’s what.

Turns out the gasket on the top of the adapter that is Ford has a smooth side and a textured side. It’s clearly marked if you look but I didn’t look so it was a giant vacuum leak.
We flipped it and reinstalled and Paulina is plumbed perfect and purring like a proper piggy.

Then we had some time leftover so we decided to install this gem.
OEM Toyota windshield.
String trick install was a bit trickier on this than a 40 but we got it
I like 40 something asses.....
