Wanted: fj62 upper rear seat w/headrests, any condition.

Hoping to add headrest safety to my fj60 for the kids.

Plan B: search for 2 bad-condition front seats and cut up for headrests like @roadstr6 did.

I have some - both fronts and rears.

Edit - not sure on the headrest for the rear seats. I can check tomorrow if you would like.

I probably have one, condition questionable. They are not all that hard to re-bush and tighten up. There is a thread on it somewhere in the 60 section

Let me know how much you want for it and if you could PM me some pictures that would be helpful. Thanks

I have no photos, its in a storage container if it is still around

Theres an 00-04 4 door down the road from me with a sign. Not sure if truck or jet ski is for sale but i can stop and ask if its still out.
I would appreciate that.

Here is a pretty good shot of the tent deployed, I don't have the side shot of it but this is a 3 person larger tent. 2 sleep amazing in there, able to roll and nobody is touched.

Here is a better shot of the rack:

All,
I appreciate everyone that has helped with either advise, technical knowledge, or just moral support with the pig. The Niland household has unfortunately been dealt some financial setbacks recently. We have had about $10k is unplanned expenses this spring, and we found out not too long ago that our foundation will require about the same in repairs.

The pig has come a long way, but it still has a ways to go. I cant in good conscious keep putting money into it, when their are more important priorities on the home front. When I bought the truck sight unseen I was told it just needed a new clutch. This turned out to be far from the truth, and I quickly reached, and exceeded my project budget.

I would like to keep this truck local and in the club so I will start a FS thread in ONSC first. If it doesn't sell here, ill post it in the general classified forum. I am
asking $4,250 for the truck and all the spare parts. I will have more details in the FS thread but if anyone is interested, please let me know. I have been struggling with this decision for a week or so, but it is the right thing to do for the family.

Details:
Truck is a 1971 with a 78 engine and transmission. It also has a front axle with disc from a 79. @NCFJ rebuilt both front and rear axles, new rotors, shoes, pads, cylinders, etc. All steering ends have been replaced the steering relay rod with one with serviceable ends. The carb was rebuilt by Jim C, it has a new fuel pump, clutch slave cylinder, rebuilt ebrake with new cable.

Known issues. Its rusty, It needs a new brake master cylinder, its rusty, it has not been baselined, it is missing an air filter nut and carb stud, its rusty. The rear gate handle is broken, and the lock is missing. It also comes with a few spare parts and a new 4speed clutch kit. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Want to Buy:

100 Series front bumper cover - Gray
100 Series front skid plate

Located in NC if possible. Thank you!

@uzj100

Did you try the clist asheboro guy? Have bought several parts from him.

Considering selling the Tundra (2005, 170K) and going for a 2nd Gen Access Cab TRD Off Road Tacoma. Tired of the wide turning radius and long body. Kid is off to college so don't NEED the double cab anymore. Would prefer a smaller stock Tacoma for back and forth to work

All said - Pearl is a wonderful truck. Rides like a 70s Cadillac and is capable off road. 37" of rear leg room, etc.

I can remove stuff from her as needed if you have interest.

Has to keep the sliders (welded on). I can possibly swap tires/wheels, remove dual battery stuff, etc.

Build thread is below.

Well, as my luck would have it, I need more glass for the 80. My friend tried to kill the horsefly from hell today and ended up punching my windshield, unfortunately breaking it and not even killing the giant fly.

So I need a front Windshield for a 1994 FZJ80

4x4 Labs Dual Swingout
