How about just sticking one of those clappers up there, maybe 2. You know, clap on, clap off. OK, I'll have another round. Nice thing about my headliner install is that the headliner and all of the door weather stripping is all brand new, thanks to the P.O. Bad thing is that the windshield is toast, time to track down a new one.

A little FYI. The search for a windshield has ended. To those in need, good luck. I contacted two local, large glass shops and each one checked 3-4 of their suppliers, no luck. I gave in and called Safelite, they are no longer stocking it and show none in their system. Contacted another vintage glass company, no go. I finally found one in New Jersey and it's being shipped to my local shop for installation. Good news is that installation is going to be $100, bad news is that the glass, with shipping, is $450. OUCH, but what are you going to do. Now I need to get my azz in gear and get that headliner put in.

Man, now you've got me worried!

Anyone with a windshield for sale?

Things are really busy around my house right now, we are expecting our second daughter any day now. The rush to finish the pig is almost over. I drove it for the first time yesterday in a year and a half. I forgot how nice it runs and drives compared to the Land Rover. The paint and buff are done, as is the exterior re-assembly. I completely lined the inside of the roof before installing the headliner. I will agree with everyone else on the board, the headliner is a pain in the ass to install, but not impossible. With that being said, the local auto glass came to the house, and installed the headliner to get me street legal, well, sort of. I know all of this is useless without pics, so I will try to get some up in the next day or so, pending the wife doesn't pop in the meantime.
