What's your pig named?

Any good plate names out there?

haven't named my pig yet, but my 1964 40 is called "ocho". My oldest, who was about 5 maybe when I got it (the first time...long story) named it "ocho mater 40" no idea why. I shortened it to just Ocho.

When I got my pig the first thought from everyone was it look like a post apocalypse vehicle. ZARV was an option, along with Doomsday. Then I remembered one of my favorite cartoons Invader Zim. One episode he gets a giant robot like a mechwarrior and it's called Mega Doomer. The robot was awesome and deadly but it needed to be plugged in and could go invisible. However, the robot would turn invisible but you could still see Zim inside floating and the power cord coming out. This reminded me of how capable the pig was but it still had limitations like leaving me stranded on the freeway many times.

I call it Doomer for short. My kids call it "daddys noisy truck" because I also have a Jeep Commander that is also black.

Mine has always been called "The Cruiser" ever since I was a small boy. Even when my older brother bought an FJ40 when he was old enough to drive, this one was still "The Cruiser". Even after I got an FJ40 and another FJ55, it was still "The Cruiser". It used to be the only Land Cruiser at my work place but since then other guys have bought various models of Land Cruisers and they would say "I drove the cruiser to work today". I would have to correct them by saying "you drove a cruiser today because I drove The Cruiser today." Now they even correct each other. They know which Land Cruiser is boss.

Not really named her yet but usually I talk about my pig and say La TOY, sometimes LA Toyota or La Belle Voiture ( The beautiful Car)in opposition to my dd which is a J..P.

Made mine the "Frankencruiser" because it literally contains pieces from all five that I've owned to make one. Also has a fair amount of pieces from Specter, this site, Ebay, Craigslist, other locals, etc. Some song by Johnny Cash comes to mind...

As credit to the movie Gone in 60 seconds (newer one) I took the term unicorn and made it mine. Since my pig is nebula green (or sea foam green as my wife calls it) I nick named the pig narwhal. It's my unicorn of the sea.
