I have been trying to think of names for my '69 Pig when I go meet up with KliersLC in Salt Lake City to pick her up. I guess I will have several hours (around 7 or 8) to get a feel for her on my way back.

I have been tossing around

Pig names?

1st pig named Sweet Pea after the real pig she shared a barn with when I bought her. My 2nd one, originally a parts rig but now on the way to being a topless trail beast, I named Wilbur. Why wouldn't you name them, since you have to be able to tell them all apart!

Im tinking mojave queen.she is not driven but more like sailed ,across the sands, rock and hills like An old ship on its way to some forgotten part of the world, or just to the store.

Mojave Queen?!? That is so gay! (NTTAWWT)

My 55 gets called all kinds of names.
It used to be Kurt's and inherited some of the things he called it; namely, Big Bear and The Short Bus (SO fitting).
I call it my Pig, my Cruiser, stupid thing, ect. Somebody put a pink "Most Valuable Princess" sticker on the window, so I usually call it my Princess. Nobody agrees that the giant rusted beast looks like much of a princess though.

yeah wayne right-on i forgot henry's read,,, do you have any of the "knights" ramblings from mark???? those are really good with his wording and stuff.

I found the right name for my pig tonight, i was riding in my brothers car on the way home and it just came to me.
SHADOW
i think it's a really fitting name and seems to have a sense of mystery about it, apart from that it just sounds really cool.
what do you think ??

Introducing the "Piggup"

Hello Folks,
Here is my "Piggup" (truck). I saved this Pig from the scrapyard by a matter of days. The rust was so bad, it forced the roof chop. I have absolutely no experience in body work and have no idea what I am doing. I am just winging it. I figured out very quickly that this is going to be an ugly truck. It will never be perfect. Therefore, I am just getting it good enough to drive on the road and enjoy it. I will fix the rust as I go. I used to work for Caterpillar and always wanted to do a vehicle in Cat colors. I used ZeroRust colors on all of the body in order to help delay the rust while I go on a 2-month job overseas. The pig runs, has power steering and A/C. All of the electrical seems to work. This pig has a long way to go. Sorry for the cropped pic. I was not sure how else to limit the file size to the req'd maximum kb. The before pic does not do justice to the amount of rust on the truck.
Any suggestions / comments are welcome!
Thanks,
Chuck

I named my fj-80 Ms. Piggy, as she was divorced from doctor as soon as he got out of med school, and was quite pissy until I threw alot of money at her. Makes it a little tough when I finally get a 55 to build. Hope she doesnt get too jealous..........
